Meet the Team
Laura qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2016 and since this time she has worked with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism within NHS community teams. Laura is extremely passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities/autism to be independent, achieve their goals and be able to engage in the meaningful activities they want and need to do in their daily lives as well as promoting the individuals’ rights, choice and inclusion and ensuring the best quality of life for the people she works alongside.
Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist Laura was a support worker for eight years which led her to her career in Occupational Therapy. Other than being passionate about her work Laura loves animals (especially cats!), watching wrestling, rock music and watching documentaries.
