Meet the Team

Jemma Gurden

Occupational Therapist

Jemma graduated in 2014 and has worked with Links Therapy since her training, originally as a Therapy Assistant and now as a qualified Occupational Therapist. Her work has focused on children and young people with learning disabilities, sensory differences and behaviours which are perceived as challenging. She has worked mainly within the educational, private and charity sector.

INTERESTING FACTS

If you could travel back to one specific point in time, when would it be and why?

To my childhood, so I could spend more time with my grandparents and playing in the fields. Or to when my little girl was first born to enjoy all those newborn snuggles again!

What’s your favourite time of year and why?

I love all the seasons, but I love a crisp, autumn walk – when the sun is bright but the leaves are crunchy under your feet.

What is the best part of your job?

Getting to know the people and families I work with and seeing them achieve their goals.

What makes you happy?

Good food, time with friends and family (pets included!) and being outside

What are your Hobbies and Interests?

Baking, crochet, animals and spa days!
