Meet the Team

Amy Heynes

Speech & Language Therapist

Amy qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2012.  She has spent the last 10 years working in both Special and Mainstream schools supporting children and adolescents with a range of communication needs.

Amy is also a Licensed Makaton Tutor.

INTERESTING FACTS

If you could travel back to one specific point in time, when would it be and why?

I’d far rather go back in time than forward! I’m interested in local history and therefore would love to walk around Leamington Spa in Regency times or Stratford-upon-Avon in Shakespeare’s day.

What’s your favourite time of year and why?

I love all the seasons for different reasons. I absolutely adore it when we get proper snow and the whole environment is completely changed.

What is the best part of your job?

I am passionate about helping people communicate in the best and easiest way they can. Luckily, this is exactly what my job entails!

What makes you happy?

Spending time with my family and friends, especially if there is delicious food involved!

What are your Hobbies and Interests?

Theatre. I love watching plays and have performed myself in the past. I enjoy reading and listening to the radio and, more recently, have got into podcasts.
